Faye Fisher’s Christmas Chocolate Drop Cookies
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 Egg
2 One ounce squares of melted chocolate (Melted for :30 in the microwave)
1 and 3/4 Cups sifted flour
1/2 Tablespoon baking soda
1/2 Tablespoon salt
1/2 Cup of Milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Mix well. Place on sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.
