Explore unique small towns of America with hosts Jann & Rodney as they participate in local events!
Each country, town or village has a sport that the locals are crazy for…well in the small towns of Illinois it’s basketball. Jann finds out that Rodney had another life years ago as a basketball coach back in his hometown. Rodney relives winning the state championship with the guys he coached. We also interview a legendary coach who got hired at age 80 to head up a brand new team. And lastly, go with us on a memorial tractor drive that honors our dads. It’s a unique tradition that’s been carried on for years.

The Mississippi River is the 4th longest river in the world and a hugely important commerce corridor. But for just one day a year -- the Army Corps of Engineers shut down all traffic. Rodney and Jann find out it’s all for a riverbank rivalry of epic proportions. A massive rope stretches all the way across the mighty river for a Tug-of-War you’ve got to see to believe, giving the winners blistered hands but bragging rights until the next battle.

Henry Ford is known for transforming the automobile industry. But he also had a deep love for history and left behind an indoor/outdoor museum for all to see filled with amazing artifacts. Where else can you see the car President Kennedy was riding in when he was shot, the actual workshop of Thomas Edison, and ride in a historic Model T? Jann & Rodney take you on an exploration of this gift left behind by Mr. Ford.

Jann & Rodney find themselves in the middle of nearly 70 baby Clydesdales as they take you to the breeding farm for Budweiser’s gentle giants. You’ll see the breeding farm for Budweiser’s famous Clydesdales. Next we take you inside Louisville Slugger’s famous baseball bat factory as well as their ‘bat vault’ where the models for greats like Babe Ruth are kept under lock and key. Then meet a man whose hobby started small -- but now “Ripley’s Believe It or Not” buys his creations built out of matchsticks and displays them around the world.
